I only wish it would give reasoning behind the decision making to help the player understand why they made a mistake or why they chose correctly.

Perfect app to learn Basic Strategy. Does exactly what description says. Worth every cent!

This has been a very helpful app. Ive played blackjack with friends but never at a casino until recently. I played and lost because I didnt have a strategy and the few times I won was just dumb luck. This app along with the book helped me to understand some basic simple strategies that helped me improve my game. My only complaint so far is that when I test my skills and make a mistake, it tells me what I did wrong, but the help button that you click to see why it was wrong is so small that if I dont click it just right or if I wait too long the learning opportunity is gone. This doesnt change the fact that I am glad I spent money on the app and will continue to use it to hone in my skills.

Perfect for complete novices and seasoned black-jack pros. If youve been playing awhile, youll learn some key points to improve your game. It definitely made Vegas less intimidating.

Nice app. Pretty much i was looking for. Giving 4 stars since the flashcards are for generic strategy only. Would be good to add flashcards for different variations of rules as well

You should be able to play through hands if you hit so that you can choose what to do with more than 2 carss

The basic chart trainer makes it easy to learn the proper move to take against the dealers shown card.

App is broken on iPhone 6 Plus iOS 8.1. Cards dont display, only their drop shadows. Emailed support as provided and got a bounce back. Wasted money.

Unfortunately this app does not work correctly with iphone 6 plus. The cards does not appear on the screen. Tried to contact them by email, but my mail was rejected by SMTP server. So, the email address inserted in the app is wrong.

Would be a five star app if there were an option to play blackjack in the app

As another reviewer said, if you want a game to play on your iPad, get another App. If you want a great way to learn Blackjack that you can use in a casino, buy this one. After diligently using this App , I have no hesitation at all and my play is automatic. Great learning tool!

Invaluable. I am 73 and have never played before. On my bucket list to learn and play. Going to Vegas next weekend with my son-in-law and his friends, who play regularly and win. Hope to do the same.

Simple. Straightforward. And just in time before my trip to Vegas! This app plays through roughly (365) hands each time and gives you a percentile afterwards. Im scoring in the 97% and trying to make it a perfect 100%

The easiest way to learn the proper mathematical play for every scenario you can encounter. After a few cycles through you will be playing perfect blackjack. I wish they let you play through full hands, though.

I havent used the flash cards too much, but this is a great app for drilling on basic strategy. Unlike many Blackjack games/training apps, this isnt focused on finishing hands, but making the correct decisions. You make a decision given the board and youre either correct or it tells you what you shouldve done. There are some improvements that I can suggest (Id even pay a little for some of these as add-ons): - Ability to drill on specific areas (pairs, soft hands, hard hands). - Track which hands I make mistakes on most and show those more when drilling. - Test hands with more than 2 cards. Theres some lines you cant test otherwise (for example, A,7 when youre supposed to double or stand, youll never stand as long as its your initial hand). Its also good practice for mentally adding more than 2 cards, and when soft hands turn to hard hands. - Calculate the expected edge based on your actual performance.

Am taking a trip to Vegas in a few days and needed a trainer to help me get ready for the blackjack tables. Initially chose this app because the clean interface but have been extremely happy to find that it is really effective in teaching the basics. My baseline run through of the test was roughly 70%, now after using the app for a total of maybe 6 hours Im at 98%. I am confident that I will enjoy my blackjack experience in Vegas. This app also comes with a great e-book which explains the etiquette of the game.

A-2 vs 6 is a double down not just a hit!!! An expert move getting more money on the table vs a bust hand. Boo to this advice.
